    Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing

    Most Sustainable Battery dry rooms

To safely manufacture lithium-ion batteries you need a relative humidity of less than 1% because of the delicate chemistry involved. 30-50% of the total energy used to manufacture lithium-ion batteries are used to keep the dry room ultradry. Cotes can reduce the dry room energy consumption by 60-95% depending on the configuration and sustainable energy source available.

With Cotes Exergic Technology you can maintain
a constant dewpoint below –70°C (max –120°C) by harvesting external sustainable energy sources like waste heat, biomass or biogas, solar thermal panels, CO2 heat pump, wind or solar power. Save millions of Euros on energy reduction and cost savings by removing tonnes of CO2 from your carbon footprint – the right way to dry a battery dry room.
