Being a responsible company has always been part of the Cotes DNA.
In 2022, Cotes decided to broaden our perspective and make sustainability a true strategic and operational priority. We asked ourselves: What does it mean for Cotes to operate responsibly? Are we doing it the right way?
The world has changed significantly in recent years — and will continue to do so. Navigating sustainability in this shifting landscape is a demanding discipline that requires concrete action and accountability.

That is why Cotes committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In 2024, our targets were validated, confirming our alignment with a 1.5°C pathway. We have now completed Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions mapping, and committed to reducing our absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 37.8% by 2029 (from a 2023 baseline). In addition, we are actively measuring and working to reduce Scope 3 emissions across our value chain.
At Cotes, we recognise the importance of committing ourselves to shaping a better future for people, business, and the planet. This is not just a statement but a direction we are embedding into our strategy and culture at every level of the organisation.
A good plan goes a long way — but shared action and collaboration remain crucial to achieving it. For us, the right way to lead is by example.
