Cotes Mobile

CR400B

Portable adsorption dehumidifier

The CR400B is part of the Cotes Mobile product family — a range of portable adsorption dehumidifiers developed for temporary and semi-temporary humidity control.

The unit is designed for construction drying, water damage restoration, and storage protection in applications requiring higher airflow and moisture removal capacity, while maintaining portability.

The designation follows Cotes naming logic:

  • C identifies the Cotes adsorption platform
  • R refers to the adsorption rotor
  • 400 denotes the capacity class
  • B originates from Building, reflecting the product family’s original application focus

Position within the Cotes Mobile family

The CR400B is the highest-capacity model within the standard Cotes Mobile range.

Cotes Mobile units are characterised by:

  • Integrated handles for manual transport
  • Defined, ready-to-deploy configurations
  • Robust cabinet construction suited for worksite conditions
  • No requirement for permanent installation

Due to its increased airflow and connected load, the CR400B is typically intended for larger spaces or higher moisture loads. Handling may require two persons depending on site conditions.

Mobile units are delivered as standalone systems and do not use Modular add-on interfaces.

What is the CR400B typically used for?
open close

The CR400B is commonly used for construction drying, large-room restoration projects, storage protection, and other temporary humidity control tasks requiring higher air volume.

The CR400B provides higher dry-air capacity (400 m³/h vs. 290 m³/h), increased regeneration airflow (90 m³/h vs. 65 m³/h), and higher moisture removal capacity (1.4 kg/h vs. 1.1 kg/h), making it suitable for larger volumes and higher moisture loads.

No. The CR400B is designed for temporary and semi-temporary use where relocation between areas or sites is expected. However it is not uncommon for some installations to be permanent.

Selection should be based on:

  • Required air volume and moisture load
  • Ambient temperature and humidity conditions
  • Required drying time
  • Available electrical capacity
  • Regeneration air ducting possibilities

Performance must always be evaluated at documented reference conditions.
