    The CR80B is part of the Cotes Mobile product family — a range of portable adsorption dehumidifiers developed for temporary and semi-temporary humidity control.

    The unit is designed for building drying, water damage restoration, construction environments, and other applications where equipment must be moved frequently while maintaining reliable adsorption-based moisture removal.

    The designation follows Cotes naming logic:

    • C identifies the Cotes adsorption platform
    • R refers to the adsorption rotor
    • 80 denotes the capacity class
    • B originates from Building, reflecting the product's original application focus but is used quite broadly today

    Position within the Cotes Mobile family

    The CR80B is the most compact model within the Cotes Mobile range.

    Cotes Mobile units were developed for environments requiring:

    • Frequent relocation between rooms or sites
    • Safe manual handling
    • Robust performance in active worksites
    • No requirement for permanent installation

    All Mobile units are equipped with integrated handles to support manual transport. The CR80B is designed for single-person handling under normal site conditions.

    Unlike the Cotes Modular family, Cotes Mobile units are not configurable systems and do not use add-on modules. They are delivered as defined, ready-to-deploy units.

     No. The CR80B is part of the Cotes Mobile family and is intended for temporary or semi-temporary deployment where relocation is expected. 

    The CR80B uses adsorption rotor technology, which removes moisture by binding water vapour to a desiccant material. This allows effective drying at lower temperatures compared to refrigeration-based condensation systems.
